College is a time where adolescence is colliding with adulthood. It is a season of chaos, somewhat, where ideas/dreams/majors are changing yet all that collides with God who never changes. We desire to provide authentic community for our college students in Georgetown, where they can meet with Jesus, experience life together and serve with a family of believers.
Fellowship & Sunday School @ 9:45 a.m.
College & Career Class: Round Table Discussion on Biblical Subjects
Teacher: Colin Duke
Location: MC 407
Worship @ 10:50 a.m.
At Main Street there are no strangers. We are all created by God and members of one family. So, when anyone enters our services -- whether visitors or members -- a temporary nametag is printed and worn. This way we can all greet and encourage each other by name and openly worship together.
Our only expectation of our visitors for you to feel free to worship as the Spirit leads in an inviting and open environment of musical praise and biblically-based teaching.
The Traditional service at 8:30 am is what's known as a "Classic" style with more traditional hymn led by the choir and instrumentation including the organ.
At the Contemporary Service at 10:50 am the music cuts loose in a strong contemporary style with a cutting edge band accompanied by a praise team of singers.
An opportunity for college students to experience a greater sense of community with each other by praying for each other and talking about God. Expect good coffee, good conversation, good friends, and a chance to unwind after a long week of classes and studying
