Middle School

Middle School students are like unlit fuses, and once they are on fire for Christ, they have the power to ignite change in their homes, schools, churches, and towns. We have several programs designed to help 6th-8th grade students fuse life and faith, to grow into the young men and women God wants them to be. Welcome to FUSE Middle School Ministry!

Sunday Mornings

FUSE Bible Fellowship @ 9:45 a.m.

6th-8th grade students meet at the "Wayve" (in the balcony of the historic building)
Teachers

  • 6th-8th grade girls- Celine Duke

Curriculum: The Main Street Baptist Church Youth group uses Lifeway's LVXI Curriculum, which is an in-depth look at the 66 books of the Bible.

Worship & Serve @ 10:50 a.m.

FUSE students have three options during the 10:50 service. They may attend the worship service with their families. Some students choose the opportunity to serve as shepherds in either the elementary or preschool worship service. Preschool Worship requires students to attend quarterly training/music practices and sign an accountability agreement.

Sunday Evenings

We hope that these events: Family Night, Unite (worship and fellowship), Secret Service, and Explosion (fabulously fun themed nights) will draw them closer together as a young body of believers and empower them to transform their world.

Life Groups

Middle School Girls Life Group

Time: Wednesdays. 7-8:30 p.m.
Location: Wayve room in the balcony of the historic building
Led by: Karen Kenagy

Middle School Boys Life Group

Time: Thursdays, 7:00-8:30 p.m.
Location: the Rock (youth building, by Dos Salsas)
Led by: Brian Mullaney

Sisterhood

Fabulous times of "sisters-only" spectacularness! Crafts, movies, sleepovers, fashion and fun

Brotherhood

Epic events for "just bros" and their shenanigans. Fishing, paintball, video games, and basketball.

AMP IT UP!

5 Wednesdays throughout the summer of Vacation Bible School designed for graduated 5th graders thru graduated 8th graders. Students meet at "The Rock" (Main Street's youth building) for Bible study, worship, games and snacks. Then, cruise around Central Texas in a big, yellow bus for fun adventures.

Youth Camp

Every summer we take graduated 6th-12th grade students to Highland Lakes Camp for a week of pursuing God and friendships through high energy games, powerful worship, team building activities and outdoor fun on the lake. Graduated 6th graders have the choice to go to Journey Camp and/or Preteen Camp.
