Sunday Mornings

Curriculum

We use Gospel Light's curriculum "Baby Beginnings" which was created specifically for nursery age children. We strive to partner with parents in helping the youngest in the Kingdom take their first steps toward God.

Safety and Security

Your child's safety is important to us at Main Street. All of our trained staff and volunteers go through a thorough application process that includes a criminal background check and verified reference check. 

When you bring your preschooler to Main Street, you will be asked to register your child at our Sign-In table. We need some basic information about your sweet little one, so that we can give him/her excellent care. Your preschooler will receive a uniquely numbered sticker that is to be placed on his/her back, with a matching sticker for you. When you pick up your preschooler at the end of your worship experience, you will be asked to provide this sticker or a valid driver's license. If you are needed, your child's number will flash on the screens in the Worship Center. Your child's safety is our primary concern- children cannot learn unless they feel that they are in secure environment.

Classes

The Meadow 

For infants-non walkers. Available at 9:45 & 10:50 a.m. at the Ministry Center. Childcare at 8:30 a.m. is in the Little Farm at the Historic campus.

Our nursery is full of warm, gentle people who are committed to providing a safe, nurturing place for babies to take their first steps into understanding God's love and care for them. 

Little Farm Down the Road

For walkers-23 months. Available at 8:30, 9:45 & 10:50 a.m. at the Historic campus (beneath the sanctuary).

Our toddler room is full of loving and enthusiastic people who are committed to providing a stimulating and challenging environment for toddlers on the move. Our environment is set for open- ended learning so that each child can grow at his/her own pace. Our toddlers are learning that God made them, that God loves them, and that church is a safe place.

2's & 3's

For 2's and non potty trained 3's. Available at 10:50 a.m. at the Historic campus in the Zebra Room.

Our 2's & 3's have their own special time of worship at the 10:50 hour. Our experienced teachers work to create an environment which emphasizes creativity, hands-on experiences, and gaining a sense of self and others.  These little ones are exposed to a range of music and movement activities as well as a variety of theme concepts including monthly Bible verses.
