At-Home VBS

Below, you will find all of the videos needed for each day's Vacation Bible School. Start with the Opening corresponding to your child's grade to learn the theme of the day, then move on to Imagination Station for crafts or games. On days 1 and 2, have your Snack along with the Bible Adventure video and finish up with KidVid Cinema.

In your bag for each day, you will find a sheet with questions and discussion of the Bible lesson that can be used to reinforce the lesson.

Day 1

Parents,

 

Each day Ms. Melissa has a few ideas to help make the Bible lesson more interactive.  Here is the list of recommended items that you or child can gather/ do to make the most of their experience.
 

DAY 1 

  • Have your snack ready for watching the “play”

  • Get out the piece of paper from your Day 1 Bag

  • Get a piece of tape

 

Day 2

Parents,

 

Each day Ms. Melissa has a few ideas to help make the Bible lesson more interactive.  Here is the list of recommended items that you or child can gather/ do to make the most of their experience.
 

DAY 2 :

  • Have a small cup of water or a spray bottle with water

  • Grab a few stuffed toys to use during the Bible story

  • Have your cookies for snack ready for the Bible lesson.  Our “train wheels” will for our lesson become “sea biscuits”

 

Day 3

Parents,

 

Each day Ms. Melissa has a few ideas to help make the Bible lesson more interactive.  Here is the list of recommended items that you or child can gather/ do to make the most of their experience.
 

DAY 3:

  • Grab a stuffed animal to carry around 

  • Use chairs, blankets and/or pillows to make a “jail” (just a blanket will do if chairs aren’t available.

 

Day 4

Parents,

 

Each day Ms. Melissa has a few ideas to help make the Bible lesson more interactive.  Here is the list of recommended items that you or child can gather/ do to make the most of their experience.
 

Day 4:

  • Take the piece of paper from your Day 4 bag, get scissors, a pencil, masking tape.

  • Using another piece of paper make a cross and tape it or place it somewhere in the room. (Do this before watching the video)

  • Collect any trophies/ medals/ awards/ certificates you might have in the house. Something that you might have earned or have been awarded.

 

Day 5

Parents,

Day 5:

  • Decorate your room for a party

  • Have paper and a pencil (for writing a note)
