Ernest Jones

Senior Pastor

Pastor Ernest Jones has been married to wife Jeanna since 1993. They have two children, Nathan and Shelby, and they are both active in the Georgetown sports scene. Ernest holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in philosophy and a master's in theology from Southwestern Theological Seminary. Ernest believes in seeking a genuine relationship with the Lord and wants to help others do the same, no matter where they are in their spiritual journey.


Christi Rich

Operations Minister

Christi is married to Mark and they have one son, Drew. She holds a bachelor of business administration degree from Baylor University. She devoted much time and effort (including her sabbatical in 2019) to complete The Church Network’s program to become a Certified Church Administrator on July of 2020. She is also on the Board of Directors for Grace Academy in Georgetown. Christi looks at her job as a ministry. One of her greatest joys is seeing the church flourish. 


Bret Haas

Associate Pastor of Ministries

Bret and Kim have been married for 30+ years and are blessed with four wonderful adult children, and two beautiful grandchildren. Bret earned a Bachelor of Divinity from Pensacola Bible Institute. With over thirty years of pastoral experience, Bret joined the staff of MSBC as a part-time Senior Adult Minister in November of 2018. In January of 2020 the church called him to be our full-time Associate Pastor of Ministries. Bret and Kim love to bring people to faith in Jesus Christ and to help believers learn God's word to discover and develop how God has created them to serve Him.


Ellen Haley

Children's Minister

Ellen Haley has been married to her husband Ben since 1992.  They have two adult children, Patrick and Rebecca.  Ellen has served in many areas of Children’s Ministry over the last 30+ years as both paid staff and volunteer. She attended the University of Alabama followed by Southwestern Baptist Seminary in Fort Worth (MARE, concentration in Children’s Ministry).  Her passion is helping children grow in their  relationship to Jesus as well as helping parents to fulfill their roles in discipling their children.
